The heaviest rain is currently falling over NE Smith county and right over the central and southern portions of Longview in Gregg county. These showers and storms are moving very little, but will tend to move slowly to the south during the next hour or 2. No really severe weather is expected. However, some of the rain is heavy enough to cause some brief street flooding. Areas of lightning may also cause some scattered power outages.
