Super Bowl champion Ravens cut Pine Tree's Johnson
Baltimore, Maryland (FOX51) — The Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens announced Monday, they have decided to cut veteran cornerback, Chris Johnson, from the roster.
According to reports from the Ravens organization, Johnson, 33, of Pine Tree High School in Longview, was struggling with migraine headaches throughout training camp and also sat out in last Thursday's comeback preseason victory against the Atlanta Falcons.
Johnson, a 10-year-veteran, signed with Baltimore last season after the team dealt with injuries to cornerbacks Lardarius Webb and Jimmy Smith.
Johnson, who was primarily on special teams, competed with former Texas Longhorn, Chykie Brown, for the fourth cornerback spot on the roster.
