Former Lion, Baylor Bear named new JT offensive coordinator
Tyler, Texas (FOX51) — Former John Tyler All-State offensive lineman William Blaylock has been selected as the Lions' new offensive coordinator, according to Smoaky.com.
The decision came down over the weekend Blaylock would replace Antoine Bush.
Blaylock has been working as the offensive coordinator at Spring DeKaney and has been an offensive line coach at Sulphur Springs and Crosby. He played college football at both Tulane University and Baylor University
Balylock was a first-team All-State offensive lineman at John Tyler as a junior and senior and was also a member of Dave Campbell's Super Team member in the fall of 2001. He finished his senior season with 80 pancake-blocks and did not allow a single sack. He played for former John Tyler head coach, Allen Wilson.
He graduated from John Tyler in May, 2002.
