Cowboys place Jay Ratliff on PUP list, out for 6 weeks
Tyler, Texas (FOX51) — The Dallas Cowboys have placed defensive tackle, Jay Ratliff, on physically unable to preform (PUP) list.
Ratliff, 31, who has been plague by injuries, will miss at least the first six games of the NFL regular season. He is in the process of recovering from groin and hamstring injuries. He injured his hamstring during a conditioning test on July 20th and the injury caused him to miss all of training camp.
Ratliff had hernia surgery over the off-season after missing 10 games in the 2012-2013 season.
Ratliff will be eligible to return for the October 20th game at Philadelphia.
