Cowboys cut Silva, Sign Moorman
The Dallas Cowboys released safety Mana Silva today.
The club signed punter Brian Moorman. Moorman was released on September 25, 2012 by the Buffalo Bills after 11 seasons with the club.
He appeared in 179 career games with the Bills, punting 862 times for a 43.9 gross average and a 37.5 net average with 243 punts downed inside the 20-yard line and a long punt of 84 yards.
The two-time Pro Bowler (2006 & 2007) originally signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in 2001 out of Pittsburg State.
