Great question. Just as in any exercise program, moderation is key. Start slowly, build an aerobic base through activities like walking, bike riding, or water aerobics. Add strength training 2-3 times a week to add lean muscle and give your body shape. The more muscle an individual has the faster your metabolism will be.
