CNN — George Zimmerman is to be released on $150,000 bond, a Florida judge ruled Friday.

George Zimmerman apologized to the family of Trayvon Martin prior to testifying in his bond hearing. He said, "I'm sorry for the loss of your son ... I did not know if he was armed."
Authorities have no evidence showing who started the altercation that led to Trayvon Martin's death, investigator Dale Gilbreath testified.
