Woman arrested for trespassing naked through a doggy door
Weatherford, Tx (FOX 51) — On April 23, 2013 at 1:40 a.m. police were called to the 1000 block of Bois D'Arc Ct for a possible burglary.
Prior to arrival officers were told that an unknown white female was inside the callers bathroom.
On arrival, police were met at the door by the caller. The complainant pointed toward the bathroom door. Officers entered the residence and made their way to the bathroom door. In the hallway of the home was the husband of the complainant who said that the female was naked and in their bathroom.
As officers entered the bathroom they found a white female sitting naked in a dry bath tub with the shower curtain closed.
Officers demanded the female open the shower curtain and at the time they removed the female from the bath tub and placed her under arrest.
Sarah Soto said that she was doing nothing wrong and said that she just wanted to use the phone.
Officers located Soto's dress which was on the back porch, Soto was taken out of the handcuffs and allowed to put her dress back on. Soto was then placed back into handcuffs again and taken to Parker County Jail.
The homeowners said they were awaken by the alarm, the husband checked the back door and found it to be open and the doggy door damaged. The husband then found Soto in the bathroom and the wife called 911. The husband held the bathroom door closed until police arrived.
Officers contacted a neighbor who said at at 1:25 a.m., Soto had knocked on his door and asked if "Bay" or "Ben" was there. He told her that no one lived there by those names.
Officers found a red notebook in the south portion of the backyard with Soto's name on it.
Officers took Soto to Parker County Jail and as they did Soto said that she was trying to get to California because she was signed to a rap label. Soto sang the officers a rap song about smoking pot on the way to jail.
Soto showed no signs of intoxication, she did not have any odor of an alcoholic beverage on her person or breath.
Soto was charged with criminal trespassing of a habitation, for intentionally or knowingly damaging tangible property (the doggy door), of another without the owner's consent.
