The Wings Over Tyler organizors are announcing the arrival on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. the F-16 West Coast Demonstration Team, Viper West. They are with the 388th Fighter Wing (ACC) based at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. You are invited to be on hand to see their arrival demonstration, which will be a grand entry into Tyler Pounds Regional Airport. Come to the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum and we will escort you on the tarmac for great photo and camera footage. After arrival the pilots are always glad to give the media an interview and close look at the planes. This is the first of many arrivals for the next 3 days for Wings Over Tyler performers.
You will want return on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for another demonstration arrival of the F-4U Corsair and the P-40. They too will make it worth your while for cameras to roll, as they make several passes over Tyler Pounds Regional Airport in a preview mode. This will be very good exposure of what the public will see for 2 hours 45 minutes on Sunday, July 3, 2011, beginning at 12:00 noon till 2:45 p.m.
