Tyler, Tx (FOX 51) — The Tyler Fire Department was called to a structure fire Tuesday morning at a residence in the 2800 block of Pollard Drive.
The initial call was received at 9:45 a.m.
Five engines and one Ladder Company, along with a district chief and an investigator, responded to the scene.
Firefighters reported heavy smoke conditions upon arrival and quickly worked to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Tyler Fire Marshal’s Office.
At least one occupant was in the residence at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported, however, one dog died at the scene.
