UPDATE: Victim identified in three-car fatal wreck

Tyler Police tell Fox51 that one person is dead after a three car wreck around 2:30 Saturday afternoon on Highway 69 just north of the Loop in Tyler.
The man has been identified as 61-year-old Javier Mojarro of Lindale.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say two trucks ran into one another, and the third vehicle struck the others after the initial collision.
The driver of one of the trucks in the initial crash was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two drivers have minor injuries.
Police say that the roadway has been cleared, and traffic should be able to procede normally.

Tyler police tell Fox51 they were called to 3500 Mineola Highway in regards to a major accident. 

It was determined that a 2006 red Ford F350 driven by a white male age 61 was southbound. 

According to witnesses, he lost control and drove into the northbound lanes of traffic. 

He then crashed into a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 truck driven by Javier Mojarro age 61 of Lindale. 

A 2012 Mercedes E350 driven by a white male age 48 was unable to avoid the initial crash and also crashed into the Ford F350.  

Javier Mojarro was pronounced dead at the scene. 

All other persons involved are believed to have only minor injuries.  It was not raining at the time of the accident; however, the roads were wet.
