UPDATE: Suspects in missing man case charged with murder

Longview — UPDATE: Two people have been charged in the death of 27 year old Ronnie Joe Gammage. 20 Year old Sarah Haslam and 19 year old Daniel Jones are charged with Capital Murder. Both are in the Gregg County Jail.

During the course of the investigation detectives identified four individuals who may have been involved in his disappearance.

Detectives interviewed two of those individuals. After the interview the suspects led police to the body of

27-year old Ronnie Joe Gammage. His body was located in Upshur County. Both suspects were arrested on Aggravated Kidnapping.

More charges will be filed in this case.

The case remains under investigation.

Longview police are currently looking for a man who is believed to be missing.
 

27-year old Ronnie Joe Gammage, was last heard from on December 4, 2012.
Ronnie is described as a being 6’ 8” tall weighing 265 pounds, and usually dresses in western attire.

Ronnie suffers from a mental disability which can impair his ability to make sound judgments.

 

Ronnie’s vehicle was also found abandoned in the parking lot of the Waffle House located at 318 East Loop 281.
Gammage’s vehicle a tan Chevrolet pickup truck, was found in the parking lot with one of the truck’s tires slashed.

All for a few bucks... murder a nice man, beat him and then cut his throat. For what, money? Well they will answer for this but it won't bring the young man back. Yes my condolences to the Gammage family. To have this happen at Christmas time.

I know some people ask why God would allow this to happen but it's not God doing this, it's man. He gave us free choice, some do good, some bad, but it's our fault, not His.
