LONGVIEW - Investigators have released the name of a man found dead Monday in his house on the 1400 block of Booker Street.
67-year-old Lloyd Johnson Sr. was found after a concerned friend had not been able to reach him and went to Johnson's home to check on his welfare.
Detectives believe Johnson died as a result of foul play, but an exact cause of death will not be made until the Southeast Texas Forensics Center in Tyler, Texas has completed the autopsy. The autopsy was ordered by Gregg County Justice of the Peace Sam Lawson.
On August 16, 2010 at around 12:32 p.m., Longview Officers responded to a check welfare call at 1404 Booker Street.
