Gladewater, Tx — Chief Farrell Alexander said a combination of the elements and health problems could have contributed to the woman’s death, but until an autopsy is completed and returned there is no known cause of death.
There were no signs of a struggle or life-threatening injuries, the police chief said.
Holcomb’s body was discovered Thursday morning in a wooded area off of Gay Avenue. She had been reported missing after wandering away from a residence where she had been staying.
Alexander said Holcomb had a long history of health problems and had previously wandered away from the residence.
