Troup — Fire crews are currently working a structure fire in Troup Tuesday afternoon.

Smith County officials tell Fox 51 that Whitehouse, Arp, Troup and Jacksonville fire crews are on the scene in the 900 block of South Railroad, where Neckover Trailer Manufacturing is located.

Crews are working to protect a nearby paint shop that could add fuel to the flames.

Highway 135 South from Troup to Jacksonville has been closed.

All utilities at Neckover are shut off and power crews are on the scene. All employees have been sent home.

An employee of Neckover Trailer Manufacturing told Fox 51that the fire started from grinding sparks.

Fire crews told a Fox 51 crew that the fire started in the paint shop, where four painters were at work. All four got out safely.

One building has been lost. Crews say it's possible the business could lose three.

Fox 51 has a crew on scene and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
