One teenager is dead and two others are injured in a major wreck in Smith County.

We're told it involved two girls and one boy.

Officials on scene tell KFXK, a car veered off the road and into the woods, and at one time, burst into flames.

They do believe speed was a factor in the crash.

No word if the teens were wearing their seatbelts, because the car was burned so badly.

It happened a little after 9 o'clock Wednesday night on County Road 1178, which is near Highway 155, just South of FM 2661.

Noonday Fire Department responded to the call. They say the vehicle was completely in flames when they arrived.

They put the fire out quickly.

We'll bring you more information as it becomes available to us.
