Update: Longview home damaged by intentionally-set fire

According to the Longview Fire Department, this fire was intentionally set in a back bedroom of the home. The fire department had it under control within 10 minutes of arriving on scene.
Five people were displaced because of this fire.

The fire was contained to the back part of the house, according to fire officials, but the home was heavily damaged due to the fire.
According to the Longview Fire Department, the family was at home when the fire started, but escaped uninjured.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

A house fire at 1012 Lambert Lane in Longview is under control, according to Longview fire crews.
The fire broke out at around 7:30 am Monday morning. There is no word at this time on any injuries or the cause of the fire.
Fire crews remain on the scene
