UPDATE: Lindale bank robber last seen headed toward Tyler

UPDATE: The robber is described as a hispanic male, 5' 10", wearing a white cap, possibly has a mustache and is driving a light blue or grey two-door car, according to the FBI.

UPDATE: The Captial One Bank was robbed by a person with a towel wrapped around their face and carrying a handgun. 

After robbing the bank in Lindale, the robber was last seen heading south on Highway 69 toward Tyler in a blue car, according to the Lindale Police Department.  The car's windows are covered in red after a dye pack exploded.

The gunman is wearing jeans, a long sleeved blue shirt and white sneakers.

It's unclear if the robber is working alone.

Smith County authorities, including the Lindale police, are currently searching for a bank robber.

Some time around 3 p.m.,  the the Capital One Bank, located on the 2500 block of South Main in Lindale, was robbed.

No injuries have been reported.

Details are slim at this time, but KETK has a crew on the scene and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
