UPDATE: Boy hit by car in Tyler
UPDATE- A Tyler police spokesman says the driver was going 5 to 10 miles per hour when the boy was hit.
The 11-year-old was coughing, walked into the car and was hit in the head by the car's mirror.
Officials say the boy received only minor injuries.
Tyler, TX — Tyler police confirm a boy was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon on the 200 block of West Houston.
Officials say the car hit the boy around 4:30 p.m., but the driver stayed on scene to help.
The boy complained his head hurt after the accident. Emergency crews are en route.
No word if the driver of the car received a ticket.
