UPDATE: Authorities identify men killed in Jacksonville wall collapse

Two people have died in a construction site accident in Jacksonville Monday morning, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say a retainer wall collapsed at around 9 a.m. on County Road 3113.

The victims, who are construction workers, have been identified as Donald Starling, 60, and Hollis Morris, 68, both of Tyler.

A third person, who is 45-years-old, was injured and taken to a Jacksonville hospital with minor injuries. He is the son of one of the men killed.

Officials say it took three hours to remove both bodies from underneath the debris.
