Tyler, TX — Officers were called to north Tyler Tuesday afternoon to reports of two bodies found at a house on North Albertson Dr.

Authorities have identfied the female victim as 50-year-old Cynthia Pettigrew. The identity of the man has not yet been revealed. Officials could only say he is a black male.

Family members claim they found the man and Pettigrew lying together unconscious. They checked on her after no contact for about three days.

Law enforcement was first alerted to the incident at 3 p.m.

A cause of death has not been determined, but police do expect foul play.
