Unusual circumstances surround Jacksonville blaze

A charred home is all that remains following a major house fire in Jacksonville early Tuesday morning.

According to the Jacksonville Fire Department, the blaze happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Quevado on Tuesday, and a second fire had been reported at the same address on Sunday at 8:20 a.m. No one was home at the time of the incident.

The homeowner, Jose Diaz, told KETK the family lost a car along with their house, however, their primary house is in Tyler.

The Texas Fire Marshal's Office was called in to investigate the unusual circumstances. No cause has been determined.
