On Monday, Tyler police were called to a robbery in the 1100 block of West Gentry. Officers arrived and saw a suspect running from the store. Officers chased after him and were able to catch Ronald Howard, a resident of Tyler. Howard was positively identified by the store clerk and was booked into the Smith County Jail on aggravated robbery charges.
