A Tyler man is charged with sexually abusing young children at the Shiloh Pines mobile home park.

On Friday, Tyler police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Shiloh Road to a report of sexual assault. When they arrived, a victim's mother told officers her 9-year-old daughter and friends, who were of similar age, had been sexually assaulted by 21-year-old Thomas Harold George Brookbank.

Brookbank, who lives at Shiloh Pines, had allegedly built a club house in a wooded area nearby and assaulted the kids several times over the past month.

Investigators obtained a warrant for the suspect and arrested Brookbank, or "Tom", and charged him with continuous sexual abuse of young children. His bond is set at $750,000.00.

This case is still under investigation with five children having been identified as victims thus far. If anyone has further information about this case please contact the Detective Brown with the Tyler Police Department at 903-533-1880.
