Tyler ISD donates hundreds of books to Azleway Boys’ Ranch

Tyler ISD is donating hundreds of books to Azleway Boys’ Ranch in Tyler. The books were repurposed and donated to the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex Library from other schools in the district.

However, students at Plyler typically use the books that are available to them in their classrooms, rather than the repurposed books in the library. That is why Vanessa Choice, Director of Alternative Programs at Plyler, thought it would be a good idea to donate the books to Azleway to help them start a library.

“Any time you can help kids, it is definitely an opportunity you want to advantage of,” Choice said.
