Tyler, tx — The Glass Recreation Center and American Karate School will begin their fall semester of American Karate classes on Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. for youth and 7-8 p.m. for adults, Sept. 11 through Nov. 13.
The class is open to youth ages five through adult. Professional black belts will instruct the classes and all ages are eligible for belt advancement and possible competition.
The cost is $60 per student for the entire 10 week session, and family rates are also available.
“This is the perfect class to teach your child patience, determination and fitness while learning this specialized Karate form,” said Ann Santana, center supervisor.
Robert Lamont is the sensei master; he has more than 30 years experience teaching American Karate, with Dojo schools throughout the East Texas area. Students enrolled at the Glass Recreation Center can also train at Hubbard Middle School and Dixie Elementary School.
