Two overnight shootings strike Tyler homes

Tyler, TX — UPDATE:

The Tyler Major Crimes Unit is investigating two drive by shootings that occurred earlier this morning.

The first shooting was at 2411 live oak and the second at 1506 North Pegues.

Officers discovered both homes had been shot with an unknown firearm. Both homes were occupied at the time of the shooting but no injuries were reported.

At this time the cases are not believed to be related. No suspects are in custody.

Anyone with information is urged to call Tyler police immediately

 


Tyler Police tell KFXK that an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon occurred at 1506 Pegues street.

At least three rounds struck the residence.

No reports of injuries and police have no suspects in custody.
