Two men seriously injured in Longview shooting

Longview, Tx — Two people were rushed to a local hospital after a shooting early Thursday morning in Longview.

At around 2:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1100 block of West Marshall Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they saw a car speed away from the area. Witnesses told authorities there were several men who were involved in a dispute that culminated in a shooting.

Witnesses say two men were injured. Officers found one victim, a 26-year-old, and had him taken to a local hospital. He last known condition was serious. The other victim, a 23-year-old, was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Police later found the vehicle they saw leaving the scene, but no arrests have been made at this time.
