Longview, Texas — The Longview Police Department is at a local residence where two bodies were found Wednesday afternoon.

According to Longview Officer Kristie Bryan, at 3 a.m., police were responding to a welfare check call when they made the gruesome discovery at a house on the 100 block of Jester Circle.

Two unidentified bodies were found inside the residence. Their genders have not been released.

Authorities are currently obtaining a search warrant to re-enter the house.

Bryan could not say whether foul play is suspected or not at this time.
