Two 10-year-olds help raise money for less fortunate children by selling lemonade

The Lufkin Daily news reports, Two Lufkin 10-year-olds decided they would take the lemons life had given to others, and make lemonade for them — and then use it to raise money for a good cause.
It was the traditional summer business with a humanitarian twist on Thursday, as Grace Montes and Laurel Ainsworth handed out lemonade and baked goods in front of The Very Thing.
The girls spent more than four hours in the East Texas heat to help raise money for less fortunate children who participate in the Herty Christmas program.
“There are some kids that go to school at Herty whose parents might not have enough money to buy them Christmas presents,” Montes said.
“We wanted to help them by raising money for the teachers there who buy the kids presents.”
