Tsunami warning in place after strong oceanic earthquakes

Tense moments in indonesia as an eight-point-seven magnitude earthquake strikes the area.
Now officials are issuing a tsunami watch for countries across the indian ocean.
Residents around the region seen running from their homes and offices in fear.
Indonesia's disaster management agency says power was down in aceh (ah'-cheh) province and people were gathering on high ground as sirens warned of danger.
Indonesian officials say the quake was felt in singapore, thailand, bangladesh, malaysia and india.
Indonesia straddles a series of fault lines which makes the  island nation prone to volcanic and seismic activity.
In fact, the incident brings back haunting memories of a deadly quake off the country in december of two thousand four.
The quake triggered a tsunami in the indian ocean which killed two hundred thirty thousand people, nearly three quarters of them in Aceh
