Troup residents asked to conserve water today

Monday, August 8, 2011 - 11:25am

The City of Troup is requesting that residents curtail non-essential water consumption Monday, i.e. watering lawns and washing cars, due to heat-related equipment problems with the City’s wells.

The malfunctions have been resolved, however, storage levels became low but are gradually recovering. City officials expect water storage levels should be normal by Tuesday morning.
