Tea Party Rally

Tyler --The Tea Party movement has a new home in East Texas.

Monday marks the first Tea Party rally in Chandler at the West Lake Baptist Church.

In the spirit of changing directions for the country, the keynote speaker for the rally is recent primary winner David Simpson and he'll be explaining how the tea party movement helped him defeat long-time legislator Tommy Merritt.

Among other things, Dr. Dwayne Collins, chairman of the Edom teas party, is pushing the movement to new places. Dr. Collins believes it's time for a change and he says the conservative movement needs to "take back" the government.
