Syria Journalist Killed

Wednesday, September 26, 2012 - 6:44am

Sniper fire killed a correspondent with Iran's state-run Press TV in Damascus on Wednesday, the television station's website said.

In another post, the site said the station's Damascus bureau chief was injured in the capital city Wednesday -- although it was not clear whether the same incident resulted in the two casualties.

At least 21 other journalists have been killed covering the Syrian war since November, making Syria the most dangerous place in the world for journalists, according the Committee to Protect Journalists.
