
SHREVEPORT - The 16th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was held Saturday in Bossier City and the event now has a new home.
Participants showed off their pink T-shirts at the CenturyTel Center.
Some 8,000 people came ready to walk and run to raise money for cancer research
The course was down the Arthur Teague Parkway.
In previous years, the race had been at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport but the race out grew the course.
