SMITH COUNTY - After a yearlong investigation Smith County officials arrested 43-year-old Eugene Gordon Cook on drug charges.
Cook was caught with $37,000 worth of drugs. Officials confiscated 60 pounds of marijuana, 2 ounces of meth, and 3 ounces of cocaine. Authorities also found 2 guns and $4,000 in cash at Cook's house off Highway 14 in Smith County.
Cook is out on a $20,000 bond.
