A home in Smith County is a total loss after an early morning fire, according to Smith County fire officials.

Noonday, Dixie, and Flint-Gresham firefighters fought the blaze which started at about 1:30 am in the 1600 block of CR 1112, near Lake Palestine.

No injuries were reported.

The Smith County Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
