Silver alert canceled, missing Texas man found

UPDATE: The Texas Department of Public Safety canceled the Silver Alert for Clyde Jones at 1:30 p.m.

Original Report: The Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Texas man.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Clyde Jones, 68, whom is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches, 145 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Jones was last seen at 5:30 a.m. on Monday in the 8000 block of Sunnyvale Forest in Houston. He is believed to be driving a tan, 2006 Chevy Impala with Texas License Plate CDP0272.

Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
