Austin, Texas (DPS) — The reward for Santos Francisco Sanchez, 46, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to as much as $15,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of December. The Texas Syndicate gang member has a violent criminal past and is wanted for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender. All Texas Crime Stoppers tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
Sanchez’s last known address was in the Tarrant County area, where he also has family ties; and he is known to work as a carpenter. Sanchez was convicted in the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in Fort Worth in 1996, and was required to report to a halfway house after his release from prison in 2003, but he never registered with the La Villa Police Department in Hidalgo County. (Please note the photos above are from 2003.)
Sanchez is 5 feet 10 inches tall and was last known to weigh approximately 205 pounds. His tattoos include: dragon/skulls/devils on his left forearm; a heart on his upper left arm; a peacock on his upper right arm; and heart/rose on his right forearm. For more information, see his wanted bulletin at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/SexOffenderDetails.aspx?id=181.
One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. All calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.
