Goodbye Jim, we barely knew you

Monday, July 8, 2013 - 3:42pm

I don't know if you have seen this, but The Daily Center reported this today.

You may remember Jim Carey, you know the actor who took a stand on guns a few months ago, he came out and called gun owners idiots.

He actual said this, "Actor Jim Carrey apologized to gun owners for calling them names Sunday."

The "Dumb and Dumber" star and advocate for gun control took to Twitter to apologize for his past comments.

"Assault rifle fans,I do not agree wth u,nor do I fear u but I do love u and I'm sorry tht in my outrage I called you names. That was wrong. 3^{," Carey tweeted.

Oh, well, that makes it ok right there.

His career is circling the bowl and now he is sorry.

This is like the third grade.

Being a complete jerk and then, "I didn't mean it."

It would have been one thing if he just made off-hand remarks, but remember, he did his cute little music video making fun of anyone pro-second amendment and then making fun of a dead Charlton Heston.

Carey went on to tweet, "Btw I don't need a crisis mgr, just a conscience. Calling ppl names is inappropriate but my position on assault weapons hasn't changed. ;^},"

I thing Carey is realizing gun owners go to movies, or in his case, don't go to movies.

All the banning and feel-gooding in the world doesn't work.

Did you hear about what happened in Chicago?

Chicago, with the toughest gun laws in the nation, this past holiday weekend more than 70 people were shot.

More than 70 people were shot.

11 died.

I can assure you those doing the shooting and the killing are not to worried about guns laws or laws on any kind.

That's my point of view, what's yours?
