Police need your help in identifying man wanted for burglary

Tyler Police are searching for a man who burglarized the Speedy Stop Shop located at 900 West Front Street.

Police responded to the burglary alarm on February 6 at 3:16 a.m.

When officers arrived they observed that an unknown suspect had broken out the glass door to gain entry into the business.


The suspect stole numerous packs of cigarettes from the display rack from behind the counter.

Another similar burglary was also reported 30 minutes later at a gas station located at 31 West and Greenbriar Road. 

The Smith County Sheriff's Department is investigating that crime.
