A new lake record has been set at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, for a largemouth bass.

Ken Leonard, of New Braunfels, caught a 13-pound lunker on March 19. The fish measured 25 inches in length with a girth of 20.5 inches.

The fisherman broke the lake's record Tuesday using a 3" River to Sea swim bait.

The 416-acre body of water is located near downtown Austin, Texas.
