Oncor’s open house invites Tyler residents to ask questions & get answers from experts
WHAT: Oncor is inviting our Tyler neighbors to visit Ask Oncor. We Deliver.® at the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden Center. This open house-style exhibit features interactive booths tailored for adults and children and educates residents on advanced meters, making your home energy efficient, reporting street light outages and more.
Have questions about your advanced meter or billing? Bring your electric bill and questions to the open house. Experts will be available to answer your questions.
Attendees will receive money-saving giveaways including a free CFL light bulb for their home.

VISUALS: Oncor experts will be on-hand to answer questions and guide visitors through interactive display stations including:
• The Take a Load Off, Texas® station, which informs residents how small changes in their homes can help save energy and money
• Oncor’s SMART TEXAS rethinking energy® station, which uses an in-home meter to demonstrate the amount of power household appliances draw
• The Kids Corner, which includes a safety lesson with an Oncor lineman, and lets kids try on his gear
• The Keeping the Lights on station, which demonstrates how Oncor maintains and restores power while working with the community to keep the power lines clear of danger
