CNN — A Washington state family says that their elderly mother wasn't given the proper medication before she passed away.
The nurse caring for the woman just recently pleaded guilty to tampering with her medication.
Turns out that the nurse is still taking care of patients.
Jean Felder was a resident at Fildalgo Care Center and Rosario Assisted Living for seven years in Anacortes.
An RN, Erin Linvog, cared for Felder for three years until she passed away.
The nurse pleaded guilty to felony of tampering with narcotic pain medication, specifically morphine at a hospice facility.
Linvog, 34, would steal the morphine intended for her patients and used it for her own use. She would replace the drug with water which was given to the patients when needed.
Erin Linvog is no longer an employee at the hospice facility but records show that she is still licensed and working in the state of Washington.
