No injuries or damage reported after unmanned locomotive incident

Officials say an train locomotive left a train station in Palestine and travelled to Jacksonville Sunday evening -- while unmanned.
According to Anderson County officials, the train left the Palestine station between 7:00 pm 8:00 pm, traveling about 26 miles before it was stopped in Jacksonville just after 8:30 pm.
Officials say the train never went over 25 MPH. However, some drivers reported seeing the train travelling through railroad crossing with no warning to drivers.
No damage or injuries were reported due to the incident. Officials are investigating how the train was able to leave the station while unmanned.
