Lufkin, TX — More than 800 jobs will be up for the taking when The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce presents the first Forest Country Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Angelina College Activity Center, 3500 S. First St. in Lufkin.
Melinda Sullivan, The Chamber’s membership development manager, said with 36 businesses scheduled to attend, the event is going to be the perfect way to find either employment or employees.
“We’re really excited about the job fair because it’s going to bring people together that can help one another in a direct way,” Sullivan said. “Job-seekers: Bring your resumes and get ready to shake hands with your future employer. Employers: Stop the stressful hunt for your next perfect employee.”
