SHREVEPORT - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney touted his energy plan this afternoon at QEP Resources, a natural gas drilling company in Shreveport.

Governor Romney addressed a crowd of about 200 people, pushing his energy plan which he claims will strengthen natural gas and oil production in the U.S.

The Republican also took time to criticize President Obama for taking credit of the southern portion of the Keystone XL pipeline.

This is the first of Romney's two stops today. He will also attend a fundraiser this evening at the Petroleum Club in downtown Shreveport. One dinner plate goes for $1,000 at the event.
