Longview, TX — A candidate for state representative has resigned her position as school superintendent of Mineola ISD.
“I am concluding 44 years in education, and after much thought and deliberation, I have decided to retire June 30,” Mary Lookadoo told the school board Monday.
“I wish to express my appreciation to the staff, the community, the parents and particularly to the students for the past 14 years of successes for Mineola ISD,” she said.
Lookadoo is running for District 5 state representative against incumbent Bryan Hughes of Mineola
