Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) on Sunday called for the GOP to unify behind the presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.

McConnell said there is little doubt that Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, will clinch the GOP nomination and predicted he will be “an outstanding nominee.” McConnell said most Senate Republicans believe the time has come to coalesce behind Romney.
