Man pinned between two vehicles in Wednesday morning wreck
White Oak (Fox 51) — Three people were hospitalized after a wreck Wednesday morning in White Oak.
It happened on eastbound Highway 80, near Lake Devernia in the White Oak area.
Gregg County DPS officials tell Fox 51 crews on the scene that a woman's pick up truck ran out of gas while driving down the road, and her vehicle came to a stop in the right eastbound lane.
Her husband arrived on scene to tow her vehicle away, and parked his truck in front of hers.
While he was working between the vehicles, another driver in an eastbound truck hit the back end of the woman's vehicle, pinning the man between the two trucks.
The man was flown to a Tyler hospital with serious injuries, and the woman was taken to a hospital in Longview.
The other driver was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle. There is no word on his injuries at this time.
Eastbound traffic is currently down to one lane while crews clear the scene.
